My life and career continues to be an interesting journey. I am a husband and a father. I have been a police officer, an entrepreneur, a socially responsible investment adviser, a consultant, and non-profit executive. I have watched children come into this world, broken-up bar fights and arrested murderers, held the hands of the grieving, served the homeless, and provided leadership to large multi-cultural non-profit organizations. I met the Pope and it was as awesome as you would imagine. I have received awards and applause which felt great. I have also made mistakes and that did not feel so great. My entire career has been in the people business. It is edifying, maddening, inspiring, challenging, and never dull. Through it all, I have learned that I am most passionate about leading organizations which make an impact in the world.
